Highly Cited Research

The publisher Elsevier has identified my main "PhD paper" as top 5 in terms of citations in the Journal of Strategic Information Systems (JSIS). The paper attempts to explain the Paretto-type of variation that can be observed in the distributions of software developers and contributing users to free and open source software. The theoretical model was built inspired in concepts from network theory, and I believe the results are applicable to various contexts of crowdsourcing initiatives. Compartilhamento de software

Como resultado de um convênio entre a UnB e o Ministério do Planejamento, o Governo Federal instituiu novas regras para o compartilhamento de software no contexto da modernização da administração pública através da disponibilização ampla e gratuita de aplicativos. O convênio contou com a participação de professores do Departamento de Administração (eu mesmo :) e da Engenharia de Software, coordenados pelo Paulo Meirelles do campus Gama.
